At the end of the Edo period (mid-19th century) a collection
of Ukiyoe woodblock-printed pictures depicting the typical sights of Osaka entitled
"Naniwa Hyakkei" ("A Hundred Views of Naniwa") was published
by three Ukiyoe masters. It achieved great popularity. [Panel members] |
