The City Planning Institute of Japan, Kansai Branch was established in October 1991, and its major role is to promote city-planning research rooted in current state and future prospects of the Kansai Region. Osaka City has led Japanese city planning in both theories and practices until now, and we have accumulated and systematized this planning information. Accordingly, the Kansai Branch is located in the CITÉ, and holds symposiums, the Kansai Urban Planning Awards, etc. in cooperation with us.
