In October 2004, the Kinki Region Transportation Council submitted a report entitled "Concerning the Ideal State of Transportation in the Kinki Area" for the target year of 2015. The report recognized the importance of upgrading newly positioned routes around Osaka City, in spite of the recent severe socioeconomic climate. We have been working jointly with the City of Osaka in connection with these future upgrading works, conducting various studies on topics such as ideal project methods and the utilization of space.
