Making Use of Information for Progressive Urban Development

Osaka City has developed as a national and global exchange base of people, commodities and information. Working together with the City of Osaka, citizens' groups, business communities and academia, the Osaka City Foundation for Urban Technology and Communication (CITÉ OSAKA or CITÉ for short) strives to promote progressive urban development, combining advanced information and communication technologies (ICT) with the urban engineering information we have accumulated. We also publicize Osaka's attractions and advantages to facilitate the regeneration of Osaka City.

We assist Osaka City and its agencies to conduct businesses and provide services for citizens' lives by using ICT, and convey Osaka's appeal to Japan and the world.
